Childhood Sweetheart
Lumeull williams like me alot but my classmates teased us so I wasn't very nice to him.If I can have that time to do over again I would kiss him. If I meet him in person I would apologize to him. Maybe if I was nice to him I would Mrs. Lumeull Williams.

Graduation Day: Class of 1981
My classmates and I graduated on June 1981. The entire class went from twenty three in kindergarden to fifthteen in 1981. the fabualous fifthteen were Cheryl Green, Lauren Rush, Kimberly Hern, Timothy King, Steven Little, Sonia Philix,Salina Carter,Toya James,Tellis,Lisa Thomas,Cozette,Michelle Caver,Lori Reese,Andre Sneed,and Archieball Mitchell. Kimberly Hern was the first one to get married.

My first Menstruation
When I was eleven and in the Fifth grade I started my first menstruation cycle. I was the last one to blossom into womanhood. We had to used Kotex with the belt with hook. That's when my mother told me about the facts of life.

Girlscouts
During my years at Howaiton Day School I joined the girl scouts and it was alot of fun. I was in a play they put on called the nosey neighbor. I had a small but important part. I went to Wisconsin Dells twice and in Wisconsin Dells we went on a boat ride at night.

Music from 1972 to 1981
When I went to Howalton Day School from kindergarten to eighth grade there was a lot of music flowing from the early seventies to the early eighties. One of the songs was bustin out by Rick James and many songs from Saturday Night Fever which was played on Mr. Draper's Bus. Rapper's Delight and the Christmas rap song was played in gym class. Bustin out was in the gym and swim show as part of the swim rountine in the swim show.

Recruitment
Two stundents from Academy of Our Lady recruitment club showed us seventh graders the school and they showed the high school grounds. Academy Of Our Lady had a brother school Mendel which is now coed. Mendel had the finest young men in the city.

Closing of the a school
In a newspaper article Miss Harris and two of her students was standing in front of the building of 47 S. Dearborn and she said unless she raise enough money to keep Howalton Day School open it would have to close. The building now is own by A.M.E Church.
