Mr.Draper-bus driver

In fifth grade to eighth grade we rode Mr.Draper's bus to school. Sometimes we rode in his Lincoln Continental home. One time we had a bad bus accident but everyone was o.k. By the way his Lincoln Continental was blue.

Summer Days: Class Picnic

Every last day of school we would have a class picnic at a classmates house. One year I hosted a class picnic at my house and me and my family was very proud of our home. We showed them each room of the house because we kept a very clean house. Than I showed them my room. I had a canopy bed. Those was fun times.

The Principal

Our principal fought in world war II. People was very bigoted in those days. So when they did't serve him in the cafe he went and got his gun and put it on his shoulder and went back to the cafe and they serve him because he meant business.

Firedrill

When we had firedrills the bell would ring and we would go grade by grade.
The eighth grade class would take the hand of the kindergarden class and leave the building.

My first crush; Timothy King

My first crush was in the seventh grade and his name was Timothy King. He was the finst boy in the class. There was also his brother Paul King. My sister Annette had a crush on him. There was a many fine boy in the seventh grade. Timothy King was the one boy I spoted. He was light skinned. I wish that I have told him how I felt.

Class graduation trip

When Annette was graduating from eighth grade she went to Hawaii and when I was grasduating from the eighth grade my class went to Calfornia. In Calfornia me and Miss Ware saw Sister Sledge in Disney Land.

Art Fair

Every year we would have an art fair and one we had to make our dream home. I didn,t do so well and the other students did better than me. But i did my best and we were awarded prizes.                                          

Science Fair

Every year we students with the help of the teachers put on a science fair. One year my sister put on a example of a dam. One year I put on a example of a rocket. We had to tell how our subjects worked. My brother let me have one of his rockets to put on as an example.

Gym and Swim Show

Every year Howalton have a gym and swim show to show our skills that we learned all year. One year we waterdanced to busting out by Rick James and in the sixth or seventh grade for the gym show we danced to Disconights.

Pumpkin

When I celebrated Holloween me and my classmates and our parents went pumpkin hunting. We would go every fall.  There would be pony rides and we would choose the biggest pumpkin. Then we would take the pumpkins home and made jack o lantens. We would have Holloween parties and put on outfits. Also we would pack lunchs.
